| Old Kyle Farm |
Following retirement from the 'rat race', Gill and I moved onto the Isle of Skye some years ago, and developed our interest in poultry, which we had previously kept on a limited basis in Yorkshire. The hobby flourished, and we outgrew the available land we had for the birds, thus the move to Old Kyle Farm, allowing us to set up our coops, and more coops, in a more structured manner.
The farm has allowed us to indulge our interest in other animals as well, with rare breed goats, rabbits, and sheep, already added to the collection. We also operate as an animal rescue centre, with various birds and animals coming here, for a variety of reasons, including rescued battery hens. All are given a good home for their natural lives.
